Store Policies Shipping & Handling:Free Local Delivery ( American Lighting Supply Inc. offers free delivery of products having a destination of Will Call Local Customers in the Free UPS Ground Shipping American Lighting Supply Inc. offers free UPS ground shipping for all orders of $100.00 or more being shipped within the 48 states of the continental US. All Shipments to Actual Cost UPS Shipping Items sold online are shipped via UPS. Online orders that do not qualify for free UPS ground shipping will be calculated using the Actual Cost UPS Shipping method. Actual Cost UPS Shipping is calculated at the time of shipping and the amount added to your final invoice issued by American Lighting Supply Inc. Your total amount due, including shipping and handling (if applicable) is then billed to your credit card or other method of payment. This method takes the guesswork out of trying to estimate the shipping costs and prevents overpayment by the customer. Using the actual cost shipping method, our customers can be assured that they pay the actual UPS shipping charges and not an inflated estimated shipping price or inflated product pricing to secure coverage of these costs. We are happy to pass this savings to our customers. The Actual Cost UPS Shipping amount will not be calculated in your online shopping cart or upon confirmation of your order. Your online order will first calculate the list of all items ordered and sales tax (if applicable). Common Carrier Shipments If a common carrier (private trucking firm) is required for larger items ordered, a customer service representative will contact you regarding shipment details prior to processing charges to your credit card or other method of payment. A representative from the trucking company will also contact you in advance to arrange a delivery time. Review and Inspect Your Delivery We take every effort to ensure that your order is processed correctly and packaged properly to ensure a safe arrival. However, if you should notice damages, refer to the following: If a product appears to be damaged, please refuse delivery of the item and notify our customer service department immediately at: 1-800-332-9896. Common Carrier: If a common carrier (private trucking firm) is required for larger items ordered, a customer service representative will contact you regarding shipment details prior to processing charges to your credit card or other method of payment. A representative from the trucking company will also contact you in advance to arrange a delivery time. After Delivery: If you discover internal (non-visible) damages after the delivery has been signed for then you need to notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Handling Charges ITEMS 30" IN LENGTH AND LONGER, AND OVERSIZED OR HEAVY PACKAGES ARE SUBJECT TO $5.00 HANDLING CHARGE. A non-refundable $5.00 Handling Charge applies ONLY to items 30" in length and longer, and oversized or heavy packages. Due to the fragile nature of our products and UPS requirements, items may require additional "overpacking" to meet standards for safe delivery by UPS. If overpacking is required for items ordered, it will be confirmed upon packaging your items, at which time an additional $5.00 handling charge per order may be applied to the order prior to billing the credit card or other method of payment. IF YOUR ORDER DOES NOT CONTAIN ITEMS 30 IN LENGTH OR LONGER, YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR HANDLING If there are any unusual requirements pertaining to your order, a customer service representative will contact you prior to shipment. By confirming the order, the customer agrees with the policies and procedures of the above Shipping & Handling Policy, and authorizes American Lighting Supply Inc. to add additional Actual UPS Shipping charges and/or Handling charges (if applicable) to the order and prior to billing the credit card or other method of payment.
Returns & Exchanges: AmericanLightingSupplyInc.com believes in 100% Customer Satisfaction. If you are not pleased with a purchased product, simply return it to us within 7 days for a full refund or an exchange of equal value. For quality control purposes, we just ask that you briefly describe the problem so we can notify the supplier and to ensure faulty items do not get recycled into our inventory.
